FLIGHTS - For those flying, fly directly to Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. From Schiphol, you can Uber, Bolt, taxi, or train directly from the airport to central Amsterdam (approximately 20 minutes).
TRAINS - For those traveling from elsewhere in the Netherlands or Western Europe, train directly to Amsterdam Centraal.
FRIDAY - Friday's Welcome Party is within walking distance of all three hotels. For those not staying at one of the room blocks, you can choose to walk, Uber, Bolt, or tram to the venue.
SATURDAY - Transportation to the venue will be provided for all guests, with the meeting point at hotel Tivoli Doelen. Transportation from the venue includes walking, Uber, Bolt, or tram.
GETTING AROUND - Amsterdam is a largely walkable city. We also recommend downloading Uber, Bolt, and Google Maps, which shows public transport options. The above-ground tram uses any tap on/tap off Visa or Mastercard and is an effective way to navigate the city.
Room blocks are available at three hotels: Tivoli Doelen Amsterdam, NH Collection Flower Market, and NH Collection Barbizon Palace. They are all located within a short walk of one another in central Amsterdam. You are also welcome to book accommodations at any of Amsterdam's many wonderful hotels.

• THE EURO is the currency in the Netherlands, and most places are credit card friendly. We suggest bringing a little bit of foreign currency, particularly if you are planning on traveling outside Amsterdam. Many local markets and shops outside of Amsterdam only accept Dutch bank cards or cash.
• TIPPING, while not required, is appreciated in restaurants. Generally, asking to add 10% to your final bill is standard practice.
• CONVERTERS are required to use US/ UK/ AU electronic devices. Most hotels are USB-equipped, but other devices require a converter. Generally we have found that electronics with a heat element (curling iron, hair straightener, steamer), will not function properly or at all, even with a converter.
• UBER, BOLT, GOOGLE MAPS, and NS APP are all helpful for navigation.
